Hey, Honey! I'm Jada!

Yes, I am a (W)holistic CBS (Certified Breastfeeding Specialist) with TOTs specialty training, with over 9 years of breastfeeding experience including 1000+ hours of clinical experience including babees with oral dysfunction, torticollis, and more at one of Atlanta's Premier tongue tie centers. I support families on childbirth to breast/chest feeding and how interventions can impede their babee's first latch. I help new and expecting moms reduce breastfeeding nipple pain, avoid low milk supply issues and confidently feed their babees-without late night Google searches. â€‹

Why "Just Feed The Baby" Isn't Enough

Most postpartum care focuses on outcomes:

  • Ounces

  • Schedules

  • Weight

  • Rules â€‹

But babees don't feed well when they don't feel safe or comfortable in their bodies. And mothers can't heal or connect when their own systems are in survival mode. We do a comprehensive lactation consult that includes:

What To Expect With Lactation Services

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this hurt?

Lactation support should not be painful. If you’re experiencing pain, we slow down, adjust positioning, and support healing. Any hands-on techniques are gentle and always done with your consent.

Do I need to be uncovered or exposed?

Only what feels comfortable for you. We prioritize modesty, consent, and privacy at all times. You guide what is shown, when, and how.

What if my babee cries or won’t latch?

That’s okay — and very common, especially for first-time families. Crying is communication, not failure. We work with your baby’s cues and nervous system, never forcing feeds.

Do you help with tongue ties or lip ties?

Yes. I assess oral function and feeding coordination and offer gentle pre- and post-frenotomy support. When needed, we provide referrals and collaborate with trusted providers.

Can you help with pumping or bottle feeding?

Absolutely. I support pumping schedules, flange fitting, paced bottle feeding, combo feeding, and transitions between breast, bottle, work, or NICU care.

Do I need a diagnosis or referral?

No. You don’t need a diagnosis, referral, or crisis to receive lactation support. Reassurance, education, and confidence-building are valid reasons to book.

Will insurance cover this?

No, I do not accept insurance. I am self-pay and also accept HSA/FSA as well. I can provide a superbill upon request and help you understand your options. Many families choose to self-pay for early support to prevent bigger challenges later.
