You Need More Than A Plan For Your Birth. You Need a Roadmap To The Birth You Desire!

IMG_2654.JPG

Birth Planning vs. Birth Roadmapping: What’s the Difference?

When preparing for childbirth, birth planning and birth roadmapping may sound similar, but they serve distinct purposes in ensuring a smoother and more empowered experience.

A birth plan is a static guide that reflects your ideal scenario, helping you communicate your preferences to your care team.. It typically includes:

 • Choices for pain management.
 • Preferences for medical interventions like epidurals or C-sections.
 • Details about who you want present during the birth.

But an Every Birth Roadmap is flexible...

A birth roadmap is a more dynamic, strategic approach to preparing for childbirth. It goes beyond listing preferences by focusing on preparation, adaptability, and financial awareness. It helps you:

 • Anticipate challenges with backup strategies for unexpected situations.
 • Understand how decisions can impact your health, birth experience, and financial well-being.
 • Create a plan to manage postpartum needs, including lactation, infant care, and recovery.

A birth roadmap is a flexible, solution-driven strategy that empowers you to navigate twists and turns while staying aligned with your goals.

Danielle Mack (her/she) Greetings! I'm Danielle Mack, a passionate and certified birth and postpartum doula dedicated to providing personalized support to families as they embark on the incredible journey of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. I am a birth mom of 3 and bonus mom of 2 and the wife to my wonderful husband serving the metro-Atlanta area and a little bit beyond. I have the experience of birthing 3 babies at home and a deep commitment to the well-being of growing families. I have the privilege of supporting families through the transformative experience of childbirth and the early postpartum period. My mission is to empower and nurture families, helping them navigate this sacred time with confidence, knowledge and a sense of calm. My road to being a doula began during my first pregnancy. There were times during my pregnancy despite having a loving husband and a wonderful midwife of feeling overwhelmed and missing another layer of support. I know that having the support of a wonderful doula would have made the transition so much easier. So I decided to become what I needed at that time for other mothers and their families. As a birth doula, I offer continuous emotional, physical and informational support throughout pregnancy and labor. I believe the strength and resilience of moms and am dedicated to creating a positive and empowering birth experience. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, comfort measures and open communication to ensure that your birth preferences are honored In the postpartum period, I provide comprehensive support to ease the transition into parenthood. From assisting with newborn care and feeding to offering emotional support and guidance on self-care. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where you feel confident and supported in your new role as a parent. Certifications: ProDoula Certified Birth Doula ProDoula Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula My approach as a Doula whether birth or postpartum is centered around building a trusting and collaborative relationship with each family. Ashley St. Jules Birth work is a reminder of the innate wisdom we all carry. Formally trained as a social worker with experience within substance abuse treatment, autism spectrum disorder, and play therapy, Ashley’s work as a doula is one of the ways she honors the lineage she comes from. She venerates the wisdom of those who came before her through continued learning and implementation of the wisdom she acquires along the journey. Ashley’s path to birth work arose when she saw societal deficits within caring for our birthing persons, infants, and their respective families. She simply decided that something needed to be done firsthand and began enrolling in doula and lactation trainings. Ashley incorporates social justice, advocacy, community engagement, ancestral wellness, and empowerment as pillars for the birthing journey. Pouring into our children, birthing persons, and families is how we create and sustain our wellness for generations to come.

Cierrah Page The love I have for children initiated back when I was a child myself. I have been a nanny for three years, touching and being touched by many families along the way. The intimacy and vulnerability that comes with being an extension of someone’s village is truly an honor. I am currently in training to become a doula to support the passion I have for helping families during their monumental moments of birth and childcare. I also believe that women deserve safe spaces and endless support during their journeys of delivering the next generations. I love and prioritize creativity, such as music and writing. I also spend majority of my time in nature and believe that being in touch with my inner child is the key to remaining grounded. I aim to aid those in need of a calm, safe, and healing experience as they go through the different stages of birth and raising a child.
